Dr. Ibrahim El Demirdash is a visionary figure in construction and engineering, driven by a passion for environmental responsibility and a commitment to excellence. Inspired by his great-grandparents King Fuad of Egypt and Queen Nazli, an artist, Ibrahim aims to build a legacy in Egypt and the Arab world by beautifying spaces and pushing the boundaries of conventional practices.
Ibrahim began his journey in construction and engineering with a Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering from Cairo University. He later pursued a Master of Science degree in construction management from Loughborough University, followed by a Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Structural Engineering from the University of California Irvine (UCI), focusing on environmentally conscious construction methods.
As the founder of LUX Finishing in 2019, Ibrahim leads the company in delivering fine finishing services and innovative construction projects. Additionally, he serves as the Managing Partner at Consulting Engineering Bureau and Laboratories (CEL), providing diverse consulting services, and drives business development at DUCO, promoting public art in urban contexts.
Before embarking on his entrepreneurial endeavors, Ibrahim served as the Lead Structural Engineer at Titan Atlas Global (TAG), based in California, USA, a company recognized for its pioneering advancements in building technologies. His visionary leadership and forward-looking strategies have firmly established him as a trailblazer in the industry.
